I started taking singing lessons from my first Guru, Smt. Veena Bhilegaonkarji at the age of three. She used to play the Harmonium and teach. I would watch her fingers moving. One day, After the class got over, I started playing her Harmonium. She immediately came out of her room to see who is playing it and was very surprised to see my tiny fingers smoothly flowing on the Harmonium. She called my parents and told them about this. My mother had learnt Harmonium in her childhood so she had her Harmonium but that was too big for me. My mother then specially got a Harmonium built for me of one and a half octave and I started practicing on it. It feels even more special to play the Harmonium and sing. I enjoy playing Harmonium!
