I was six years old when I first performed a Ghazal on stage at Ajivasan’s Annual Day. It was Acharya Jialal Vasant Ji’s Ghazal. My teacher, Ms. Deepti taught me the Ghazal very well and everybody, including Suresh Wadkarji and Jialal Vasnat Ji’s daughter Prem Vasant Ji held me in her arms and appreciated me. This performance will always be memorable for me.
