Bombay Talkies – My first movie

I was called for an audition at Vishal – Shekhar’s studio. After reaching the, I met Shekhar Sir and he asked me to sing the songs – Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh and Lag Ja Gale and he liked my voice very much. He selected me and we recorded the songs a week later as I had high fever then. We recorded three songs – Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh, Lag Ja Gale and Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam in half an hour. Vishal Sir and Shekhar Sir appreciated me a lot. They are so talented yet so humble. Bombay Talkies released in May, 2013 and this opportunity was like a turning point of my career.
