I feel that ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ was a blessing for me. The serial aired on Star Plus on 19th March, 2018 and went on for two years till 7th February, 2020 with around 500 original songs. When the serial began, Aakriti, the lead actress of the serial who was playing the role of Kulfi was half my age and so had to modulate my voice to match her character. This was a bit challenging for me but things became a breeze when I got that right. Sargam Jassu and Nakash Aziz, The musical geniuses of the serial made each and every song so special, so beautiful and so different that I simply enjoyed my work. I had to record the songs amidst my board exams too but it didn’t bother me so much as I loved my job. The dynamic range of songs gave me an opportunity to explore myself. People and fans all around the globe still vibe to the songs and write messages to me, appreciating my talent and that is definitely something which motivates me and makes me feel special and loved.
